On this Personal project I explored how would a partnertship between Tesla and Arsenal look like. Being both brands known by their Premium and sustainability values, all the activations aim to achive and communicate these with the fans and prospective Tesla customers.
Tesla & Arsenal Print and Digital Campaign
Tesla is know for not advertising their products. However, in a partnership with a club, a printing campaing could reach potential Tesla Customers that are fans of the Arsenal club.
A campaing like the one below could be placed in strategic places in the stadium and its surroundings and could also be placed in the Match Programmes sold prior every match.
The Matching programmes are very special pieces of publication - they keep the fans entertained before the match, provide fans news about the club, interviews with the players and coaches, team statistics, and they are also a great medium for Arsenal's partnered brands to communicate with them.
Another way of advertising Tesla would be on the Arsenal FC website.The club's website establishes a great synergy with the fans, through news, videos, features, statistics, the possibility of managing their membership and buying tickets and Arsenal Kits.
Given this, Tesla could use the opportunity to extend their print adverts into the digital side, placing a few banners on AFC website.
Social Media is also another important medium to communicate with prospective customers. Below is one example of how Tesla and Arsenal FC could reach the community that are both Tesla and Arsenal Fans.
LED perimeter boards are one of the most important mediums of advertising a brand can use during football match.
Tesla to advertise on the LED perimeter board will achieve great exposure to the fans at the stadium and those who watch the matches on the TV.
Tesla Charging Points
The match days at the Emirates stadium, where the attendance consistently reaches the 60,000+ fans, would be a great opportunity for Tesla to showcase their vehicles.
Fans would have the opportunity to see and know more about Tesla Cars and technology during this days and also it would give the opportunity for Tesla car owners to access premium parking spots in the vicinity of the stadium.
Tesla Hospitality Box
Being Tesla a premium car brand it would make sense to customise an Arsenal FC Hospitality box, providing to the fans who attend the match in the given location a more personalised match experience.
The proposed activations below are: branding of the hospitality box seats, a banner on the railing facing the pitch and two examples of wall branding inside the hospitality boxes.
Hector Bellerin: Being a vegan in the Football World
Being a professional Footballer is not easy. All the top class footballers have to abide by strict habits for achieve the best performances both in training and in match days, specially their eating habits.
Could a modern world footballer achieve great performances by changing their eating habits into a Vegan diet?
Tesla would partner with National Geographic to show how Hector Bellerin is not also achieving the best performances of his career but also how is he shifting into a more sustainable lifestyle.
